Front Door Replacement in Naperville, IL

Harris Roofing, Siding, Windows & Doors recently completed a front door replacement project for a homeowner in Naperville, IL. The homeowner found Harris Exteriors through Therma-Tru, a trusted door manufacturer, while searching for a replacement entry door that would meet their community’s architectural requirements.

The home is located in a brownstone community governed by a Condominium Owners Association (COA), where exterior doors must maintain a consistent appearance. Our team helped the homeowner select and install a new Therma-Tru fiberglass entry door that matched the community’s existing design.

Therma-Tru Fiberglass Entry Door with Twin Sidelites

For this project, the homeowner needed a replacement front door that maintained the brownstone’s original architectural style while offering the benefits of a modern fiberglass entry system.

Our team installed a Therma-Tru six-panel fiberglass entry door with twin sidelites, carefully matching the surrounding homes’ appearance.

The new entry door features:

• Door Manufacturer: Therma-Tru
• Door Style: Traditional six-panel fiberglass entry door
• Sidelites: Twin glass sidelites with horizontal grilles between the glass
• Exterior Finish: Chestnut Brown door and sidelites
• Interior Finish: White
• Exterior Trim: White exterior door moldings

The Chestnut Brown entry system and crisp white exterior trim maintain the brownstone’s traditional appearance while giving the homeowner a durable, attractive new front entrance.

Matching Community Architectural Requirements

Replacing an entry door in a COA-governed community requires careful attention to design details. In this Naperville brownstone community, all exterior entry doors must maintain a consistent appearance.

The homeowner needed a replacement that matched the original door configuration, including the six-panel design, twin sidelites, horizontal grilles, and exterior colors.

By selecting a Therma-Tru fiberglass door, we maintained the required architectural appearance while providing the homeowner with a durable, low-maintenance entry system.

Fiberglass entry doors resist warping, cracking, and weather-related wear, making them a practical choice for homes throughout the Chicagoland area.

A Beautiful New Entry Door for This Naperville Brownstone

The completed front door replacement maintains the brownstone community’s uniform appearance while giving the homeowner a refreshed, functional entryway.

The Chestnut Brown exterior complements the building’s existing architecture, while the white interior finish creates a clean appearance inside the home. The twin sidelites allow natural light into the entryway without changing the home’s traditional design.
