For the replacement, we installed a Therma-Tru® fiberglass door with a white interior and white exterior. Fiberglass is an excellent choice for an exterior entry because it delivers the look and performance homeowners want without the maintenance concerns of traditional wood doors.
For this project, we installed a new 8-foot Alside sliding glass patio door. The large glass area creates an attractive connection between the home’s indoor and outdoor living spaces while letting in plenty of natural light.
We replaced the two aging units with Alside patio doors, providing smooth operation, a clean appearance, and modern energy-efficient glass. The homeowners selected Beige for both the interior and exterior, allowing the new doors to coordinate beautifully with the home’s existing finishes.

The homeowners wanted new exterior doors that would maintain the character of their home while offering the benefits of modern materials and construction. Our team helped them select Therma-Tru® fiberglass doors to replace all three aging exterior doors.
The original basement door had suffered from years of water intrusion, resulting in extensive damage and leaks into the basement. To resolve the issue and provide a long-lasting solution, our team removed the old door and installed a new Therma-Tru® fiberglass entry door.
A homeowner in South Barrington, IL contacted HARRIS ROOFING, SIDING, WINDOWS & DOORS in the fall of 2025 to request estimates for three doors for their home. After reviewing options and discussing styles with our team, the homeowner reached back out in the spring of 2026 to move forward with one of the projects—a door leading into the garage.
After a full inspection and consultation, the homeowner chose Owens Corning Duration shingles in Onyx Black. This popular color provides a sharp, modern look while delivering long-term durability and protection against the elements.
Our team recommended upgrading to a Therma-Tru fiberglass entry door, featuring a fully spray foam-insulated core for superior energy efficiency and comfort. To further improve performance, we installed the new door using non-expanding spray foam specifically designed for windows and doors, ensuring a tight, long-lasting seal around the entire unit.
After exploring their options, the homeowners selected a Therma-Tru Craftsman-style entry door, a classic design that adds character and charm while maintaining clean, modern lines. We also replaced the existing surround with durable white LP® SmartSide® trim boards, ensuring long-term performance and a polished, maintenance-friendly finish.
