Window Replacement in Wheaton, IL with Alside Vinyl Windows

A homeowner in Wheaton, IL contacted HARRIS ROOFING, SIDING, WINDOWS & DOORS after a friend referred them. The homeowner had problems with several upstairs windows and wanted a reliable, long-term replacement.

Replacing Low-Quality Windows

The home’s previous owner had already replaced the upstairs windows before the property was sold. Unfortunately, the replacement windows were lower-quality products that had developed multiple problems.

The homeowner was dealing with water leaks and seal failures in several window sashes, making replacement the best solution.

After discussing the available options, the homeowner chose new Alside vinyl windows for the second floor.

New Alside Vinyl Double-Hung Windows

Our team installed Alside vinyl double-hung windows with clean white interiors and exteriors. Double-hung windows provide a traditional appearance while offering convenient operation, ventilation, and easy maintenance.

The existing interior molding was still in good condition, so we didn’t need to replace it. This allowed us to preserve the existing interior appearance around the windows.

On the exterior, we replaced the window moldings and covered them with aluminum for a maintenance-free finish. The aluminum-wrapped exterior trim helps protect the molding from the elements while eliminating the need for regular scraping and painting.
