Gutter Replacement in Wheaton, IL

Harris Roofing, Siding, Windows & Doors is helping a homeowner in Wheaton, IL, improve water management with a new gutter system. The project involves replacing the home’s existing gutters with new white gutters, upgrading the downspouts, and adding an additional gutter to help redirect rainwater away from the home and surrounding landscaping.

Upgrading Gutters and Downspouts for Better Drainage

One of the homeowner’s primary concerns was managing rainwater around the property. To address these challenges, our team will remove the existing gutters and install a new white gutter system designed to improve drainage and protect the home’s exterior.

As part of the upgrade, we’re installing larger 3″ x 4″ downspouts to increase water-carrying capacity and help move rainwater away from the home more efficiently.

These larger downspouts are especially helpful during heavy rainfall, reducing the risk of overflowing gutters and excessive water buildup near the foundation.

Additional Gutter Installation to Protect Landscaping

In addition to replacing the existing gutter system, we’re adding a gutter along the front of the home to improve water management in a key area of concern.

This new gutter will help collect and redirect rainwater that might otherwise flow directly onto the homeowner’s landscaping. By controlling runoff more effectively, the upgraded system helps prevent soil erosion, protect established landscaping, and reduce water accumulation near the home’s foundation.

A Functional Upgrade That Complements the Home

The homeowners selected white gutters to complement the home’s existing exterior and maintain its clean, attractive appearance.

Beyond aesthetics, this gutter replacement project creates a more effective drainage system that helps protect the home, foundation, and surrounding landscape from excessive water runoff.
