Siding Replacement in South Barrington, IL

A homeowner in South Barrington, IL found Harris Roofing, Siding, Windows & Doors because of our nearby Barrington location. They wanted to replace all their siding, soffit, and fascia, along with multiple windows, as part of a major exterior transformation.

The home had a traditional Tudor-style exterior, but the homeowners wanted a completely different look. Our team helped them update the exterior with new siding and windows, giving the home a cleaner, more contemporary appearance.

LP SmartSide Siding Transforms the Exterior

For the siding replacement, the homeowners selected LP® SmartSide® siding. We installed horizontal siding across most of the home and used board-and-batten siding in the peaks to create contrast and add architectural interest.

This combination helped move the exterior away from its previous Tudor appearance while maintaining plenty of character and dimension. New soffit and fascia completed the siding portion of the exterior renovation for a cohesive finished look.

New Sierra Pacific Windows

The project also included replacing multiple windows with Sierra Pacific windows. The new windows feature an aluminum-clad exterior with a white wood interior, providing exterior durability while maintaining the warmth and appearance of wood inside the home.

Combining the new windows with LP SmartSide siding let us make a dramatic change to the home’s overall appearance, rather than replacing one exterior component at a time.

A South Barrington Exterior the Homeowners Love

The homeowners love the transformation of their South Barrington home and are already planning the next phase. They intend to have Harris Exteriors replace additional windows next year, allowing them to continue updating the home with the same products and team.

Harris Roofing, Siding, Windows & Doors has earned an outstanding online reputation and excellent customer reviews by helping Chicagoland homeowners transform their homes with quality products, experienced installation, and attentive customer service.
