Replacing Peeling Soffit and Aging Fascia

The existing soffit was showing its age, with peeling paint creating both an appearance and maintenance concern. Rather than continuing to maintain the older materials, the homeowner decided to upgrade to a more durable exterior system.

For the new soffit and fascia, we installed Ply Gem® Ventura Hidden Vent Soffit in Classic Cream. The hidden vent design provides the ventilation needed for proper attic airflow while maintaining a clean, streamlined appearance without prominently visible vent openings.

The Classic Cream color also gives the home’s roofline a warm, finished look that complements the other exterior features.

New Royal Brown Gutters and Oversized Downspouts

The home’s existing gutters were also causing problems, particularly around the outside miters where water was leaking.

As part of the exterior upgrade, Harris installed new 5-inch gutters in Royal Brown along with oversized 3″ x 4″ downspouts. The larger downspouts help move water away from the home efficiently, while the Royal Brown finish provides an attractive contrast with the Classic Cream soffit and fascia.

Together, the new gutter system and exterior trim provide a coordinated look while improving water management around the home.
