These Lemont homeowners wanted to refresh their home exterior with new, durable siding and trim. The homeowners found Harris Roofing, Siding, Windows & Doors through a relative who had seen our work on a neighbor’s home and recommended us for their project.
From James Hardie to LP SmartSide
Initially, the homeowners were interested in James Hardie® siding, but after visiting our Glen Ellyn showroom—the closest Harris Exteriors location to Lemont—they explored multiple siding options in person. Once they compared textures, finishes, and color options side by side, they fell in love with the look of LP® SmartSide® ExpertFinish® in Tundra Gray.

Installation Highlights
Our crew performed a full exterior transformation:
- Replaced existing siding on both structures
- Installed precision-trimmed white window and corner boards
- Upgraded attic ventilation with Mastic’s vented soffit
- Added seamless gutters and Shur-Flo gutter guards to minimize clogging and maintenance

What’s Next
